In alignment with Swimming Australia and Swimming WA, WAIS delivers the WA Swimming Australia High Performance Hub. The Hub is one of eight High Performance Training Centres located around the country. The Hubs play a critical role in the delivery Swimming Australia’s High Performance strategy and span all five strategic priority areas;

  • Coaching and technical leadership
  • Daily performance and competition environments
  • World leading performance support
  • Athlete and coach development
  • Innovation.

WAIS offers the opportunity for athletes to gain Swimming Scholarships (to train either inside and outside of the WAIS environment) by achieving the selection criteria outlined in the Selection Guidelines, Criteria and Process.
